Excellent concrete bit
Would RecommendDrilled at least 20 holes into concrete without any problems. Ensure to use a jack hammer drill with this for easy drilling.

One tough drill bit
Would RecommendFirst off I rated this a 4 instead of 5 simply because the bit shank is designed for a Dewalt Hammer Drill. I had another brand with a standard chuck. I had to work with the bit to get it centered into my drill chuck and get it centered and spin true. Once I finally got that accomplished I was able to drill into my concrete slab as a pilot hole then switched to a 1/2 Dewalt Masonary bit to complete my project. I had to drill into some extremely hard concrete that had granite rocks mixed into the...

Good for concrete, not rock or reinforced concrete
Would Not RecommendTwo carbide cutting edges are fine for concrete. I would recommend the bit for that. You need four cutting edges for harder rock, long cured concrete, and reinforce concrete. Sometimes hard to figure out online, but easy in stores.

Concrete yes; granite, no...
Would RecommendUsed this bit in a Bosch 1" SDS Plus Xtreme Bulldog rotary hammer, a very fine tool. This power tool was set on hammer, not drill. It punched right into the rock until the bit got stuck. After disengaging the tool, I was able to get it out of the rock in about 10 minutes with tapping in the sides to the shank. I then switched the setting to hammer drill, believing the continuous rotation would prevent it from getting stuck again. Even though I wasn't bearing down on the bit, just enough to engag...

Concrete drill bit
Would RecommendI didn't use it because I came home and I already had one from a previous purchased same size same brand and it does the job really well But don't forget to use this or any concrete drill bit you need to use it with a hammer drill or you will be wasting your money because they won't work like they are supposed to.

Drill bit is great. saved a ton of time and work.
Would RecommendExceeded my expectations. Worked like a breeze. The SDS drill is really the thing that makes drilling into masonry super fast. This bit will only work with that type of drill. Specialty tool, with a special shaft/ that won't work in a regular hammer drill. I had about 40 holes and it was worth every cent.

Useless on Porcelain Tile
Would Not RecommendBought this because it advertised it could be used on Porcelain tile. Unfortunately, that was not the case. It took a half hour, at least, to get through the 1/4" tile using the recommended steady, moderate speed, and moderate pressure. More pressure and it warns of warpage. They need to remove porcelain tile from the recommended uses of this bit.
