Ratings & Reviews for Bosch BLAZE 100-ft Indoor Red Laser Distance Measurer with Backlit Display
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this laser measurer for its intuitive operation and reliable accuracy. Most highlight how simple it is to use—point, click, and read the measurement—making it far easier than traditional tape measures, especially in tight spaces. The compact, ergonomic design fits comfortably in pockets and tool belts for one-handed use. Professionals including real estate agents and cabinet makers trust it for precise daily measurements, often accurate to 1/32 inch. Some note the lack of a printed manual creates initial confusion, though functions become clear through trial and error. A few report minor inaccuracies or miss features like memory recall, but these are viewed as acceptable trade-offs for the affordable price and straightforward design. Overall, most customers consider it exceptional value.

Would RecommendI needed something that was accurate and would make measuring windows (tall/long) easier. This is pretty darn accurate, can address multiple fractions (and decimal) and save the measurement. Everyone should have one of tehse.

Ready to measure a big warehouse project and the laser is missing. Lowes was close by and the laser measure we needed was right where we thought it would be. Well marked shelves and aisles and we were making our purchase and back in business.

Such an upgrade from a tape measurer
Would RecommendYour tape measurer still serves a purpose, you’ll just resent having to pull it out after using this fantastic gadget! It’s compact, easy to use and easy to read. LOVE it. As mentioned by another reviewer, it is spot on. I do not regret spending $ on this item.
avoid Lowe's if you want customer service.
Would Not RecommendIf you think the Lowe's credit card will help with return windows, additional customer service or the ability to have any kind of flexibility, think again. the customer service phone numbers do not get you to a person who can resolve your issue, and no one seems to know that the credit card gives you an extended return window.

Questionable accuracy
Would Not RecommendI purchased my Bosch GLM100-23 about 10 months ago when starting a job to finish out my unfinished basement. When assembling sections of my stud walls I use the GLM100-23 to measure the distance between the concrete floor slab and top plate which is attached to the bottom of the floor trusses; however, I drop a plumb bob from the front edge of the top plate in several locations and snap a chalk line so that I can get an accurate measurement. When I stand the Bosch GLM100-23 right at the chalk li...

Worked great till it didn't
Would Not RecommendHad for about 6 months, went to get it out of the toolbox and it wouldn't turn on. Thought that it might be the batteries but that didn't help.
