You can do better

I could not get my saw to produce a clean, perpendicular cut. There was a small amount of deflection at the blade spindle that contributed to a slightly washboard finish to cuts across 2x's . I have large hands and found the handle to be ridiculously thick and awkward. Power was not really adequate so you are tempted to push more than you should.

Good tool but...

Good tool for home projects when you don't want to use the heavy not cordless 7 1/4 in. circular saw. It will probably covers 90% of my needs. But... with the batteries I already have (came with a Boosh drill) the power drops quickly. After only a couple of cuts I have to replace the battery with a freshly recharged one. I have 18v 1.5Ah batteries (BAT611) and there are in good shape. I suspect the tool to be more usable with a more powerful battery. It's a bit of deception as I don't want to...

Good precision and an impressive power

I got this saw several months ago for my first outdoor project and it is great It is powerful enough to do small jobs around the house and it is not too loud. Being cordless makes it safer, in addition to being more convenient. Not having to worry about dragging around a cord or having access to power outlet is important for me. I can’t believe there is not a connected and brushless version of this saw. So disappointed

Good little saw.

Decent little saw for small jobs but a little underpowered for cutting pressure treated 2x material. Good run time with a 6ah battery

Bosch cordless circular saw

Wish it had LED work light and metal lower guard cover. However very solid made does the job I need.

Still on market - Bosch calls it obsolete

While the saw works very well, I cannot recommend it to anyone. Purchased a bit over 3 months ago for over $100. Since have bought more than a hundred dollars in batteries. Incredibly the saw came without a rip guide (Bosch calls it a rip fence.)It retailed for about $7.00 depending on store. Have been trying to get one since purchase. Never in stock etc. Today complained to Bosch - came back with "sorry to say that there is none due to the age of the tool." THIS DESPITE FACT THE SAW IS WIDELY S...

Extremely happy with it but can't figure out why it doesn't come with a guide fence

Where's The Accessories

A great little circular saw for light to medium-light work. My only complaint is that there is no rip fence available that once was. The other is the lack of a carry bag - unless you buy the kit. Bare Tool means Bare Tool. I'm surprised it even came with a blade.

Solid blade right option

I've only used this a hand full of times thus far but its been great. Ive been using a 6ah battery in it with no issues with fit and or run time. I do wish it came with a rip fence and the optional dust collection port that is available in Europe. I'll be ordering that very soon to keep dust down during indoor cuts.

Battery wears down

Great product but the battery wears down quick, really quick. Will still need to purchase a corded saw to cut thicker wood

Just purchased it

I have not used it on an actual job but I am pleased with the few trial cuts I have made. I am disappointed that it did not come with a wrench to change blades or a ripping fence.

Pretty decent but could use some tweaks.

The good: enough power to cut through most 2x boards, light weight, 4 a.h. battery lasts decently long with this. The bad: no place for a rafter hook, can’t see the battery level indicator when battery is installed on saw, safety switch is kind of in an awkward spot. Wish list: more power, splitter knife option
