I assumed all was good until I got to the job site to plug in and charge. I noticed the box had obviously been opened and retaped. I stay away from packages like this as it only spells missing parts. Would RecommendThis saw has plenty of power to cut through most most woods and plyboard/MDF materials. Mostly use it on 3/4 material, but had no problem cutting through a 2x4 either. The battery and charger that came as part of a deal with Lowes worked great as well, fast charging and lasted for several cuts, at least 35 in my case on 3/4 ply maple, and battery was still showing about half full. It's handy for taking up on a ladder or roof, or little trim jobs. About as good as others in the price range. Not very excited by the weak table, as it bends pretty easy. The angle on the bevel guide is completely untrue, and I have to check it with a square to make it zero, but it does cut true after that. The table depth and bevel locks work well (other brands had bad issues with those). I bought it because it came with a free battery, and I have other Bosch tools. I would pay more for a diff...

Would RecommendThis is the saw that will cut through your "2 by's" with ease. It's easy to handle, easy to set up, everything. The only thing that takes 1 star away is that if you're a right-handed person, prepare to get messy, this saw covers you in sawdust from top to bottom. Nonetheless, I would buy another of these saws if this one ever stops working.

Would RecommendI bought this saw to suppliment my current Ryobi corded circular saw for the flexibility to saw materal where there isn’t an electrical outlet nearby. I am glad I did, this saw cuts well, it’s quiet, and saws through 3/4 plywood better than my corded saw. My only complaint is the safety switch is a little awkward to operate, but overall a great saw!
