Everything you need in a tripod
Would RecommendI needed a tripod for my brand new laser level and this is just perfect. We owned a tripod many years ago and this one knocks the old one (from 1974!) out of the park. It is adaptable to varying heights and the clips governing the leg length are quickly deployed. It folds into a compact package in nothing flat. It works beautifully with my Bosch GLL50-20G laser level.

Cheap Plastic Garbage
Would Not RecommendWorked well for the first few months. Then the vertical adjustment dial started skipping when you try to raise the center column. You could still get by and make it work, but the cheap plastic started to fail quickly. Then one of the leg clasps snapped. Again, cheap plastic failure. I expect more from Bosch. If you expect people to continue supporting this brand, stop churning out garbage like this and still expect a premium price tag.

Plastic gears are inadequate
Would Not RecommendThe crank broke because the stem that the plastic worm gear is attached to got jammed in the tube. To remove that stem I need a hammer and a stick in the bottom. Unfortunately, because it was jammed, the worm gear is now ruined and it is plastic. I'm unsure if I can ever replace this I might have to junk the whole thing
