Fixed Base Stays True in Router Table

Runs quiet for a 2.25 HP motor and doesn't chatter on heavy roundovers or dados in 8/4 white oak. The fixed base lives inverted in a router table where the above-table height adjustment wrench works cleanly without slipping. Wooden handles on the fixed base give solid tactile control for hand routing, and the plunge base action is smooth with zero stick. Self-releasing 1/2-inch and 1/4-inch collets pop bits loose easily without needing two wrenches to pry them out.

Top Router Set for all your routing needs

This router is a favorite of many woodworkers due to its quality and excellent performance. Got mine on sale and it is a workhorse in my shop. If you want to up your routing game this set is a good option. Comes with 1/4 and 1/2 inch collets and the plunge base is smooth and very easy to use. Strong carrying case is a plus and I am very happy with my purchase.

A standard for a reason

Gold standard of routers at this price point. Great machine I just wish it included a dust collection shroud.

I have owned this router combo kit for about 3 years and bought another so I could leave one in the router table. All in all, this router is great and with it being a deal of the day I could not pass it up for the price.
