What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this product for its exceptional performance, durability, and versatility across automotive and household repairs. Reviewers highlight its fast curing, smooth sandability, and ability to create hard, long-lasting finishes on wood, metal, and various surfaces. Many appreciate its ease of mixing and application when the correct hardener ratio is used, with repairs often becoming virtually invisible after painting. However, several customers express frustration with unclear mixing instructions and inadequate printed guidance on the can. A few report issues with underfilled containers, strong odor, and improper mixing causing slow curing. Despite these drawbacks, most consider it a reliable, effective repair solution.

Would Recommend3m went the way of the 5lb bag of sugar and 1lb of pasta. Looks like they cut the weight by 25%. Had a old tube of hardener and it was 1oz. Now 3/4 oz. Glad I didn't need to have a full can.
Don't be concerned about the 'Stage' on the can.
Would RecommendI was concerned that I had the wrong 'stage' of Bondo only to do research and find out that it just means the 'stages' of preparing, filling and painting of the repair which has NOTHING to do with the kind of Bondo you should be using. Very confusing.

Death of a spreader
Would Not RecommendIt’s been a long time since buying bondo. I was surprised that the container comes with the two part mix; however, does not contain the ability to scoop out the filler and mix the hardening agent. Very disappointed when I’m expected to buy these necessary supplies separately, and the store I purchased the product from does not sell them. So much for Kitty ready solutions. 3M you failed me

Excellent all surface patching medium.
Would RecommendI used the Bondo to patch a rotted wood post. Cleared out the area of the rotted wood, applied wood hardener, separate purchase, then mixed the patching compound with hardener and applied to the area. It was easy to work, easy to shape and sand. A coat of paint and post is like new. I will use for my next project, I was extremely satisfied.

Bonds like iron
Would RecommendSteel Door patched a dent by painters when they build my house with indoor wall patch. This bubbled the paint. Removed and used Salmon Patching Compound and door looks like new. Bondo seems strong and will last forever. Great Product!

Works Great
Would RecommendI have used Bondo for a number of small projects around the house. In addition to small repair issues on the car, it works well for repairing small issues in a window frame. It dries quickly and a repair I completed a few years back is still holding well. It smells strong, as you would expect, so make sure to mix in a well ventilated area.
