What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this product for its exceptional performance, durability, and versatility across automotive and household repairs. Reviewers highlight its fast curing, smooth sandability, and ability to create hard, long-lasting finishes on wood, metal, and various surfaces. Many appreciate its ease of mixing and application when the correct hardener ratio is used, with repairs often becoming virtually invisible after painting. However, several customers express frustration with unclear mixing instructions and inadequate printed guidance on the can. A few report issues with underfilled containers, strong odor, and improper mixing causing slow curing. Despite these drawbacks, most consider it a reliable, effective repair solution.

Would RecommendBought a new gallon can of Bondo Filler and opened it to find it was only 3/4 full. Is this normal? Great product but disappointed in this aspect!

Bondo is like liquid honey
Would Not RecommendI'm not sure if the bondo I bought is defective, but after mixing in a few drops of the hardener in a small batch it never turned red like I saw on many youtube videos, I was hoping it would have turned into a putty like filler. Instead it stayed yellow and had a consistency of liquid honey. I was hoping to use this to repair the corner of my metal entry door, but it just rolls right off due to it being way too watery. This product would be impossible to build up due to it being like water. I'm ...
Incomplete Product
Would Not RecommendDid not get lightweight Bondo product. The Red Hardener was missing from the package. Had waited for pickup longer than a customer should. Very disorganized pickup / return area. Associate was nice once I got one. Product I got was wrong and incomplete !!
Great for filling cabinet door router groves.
Would RecommendI used the bondo for filling the router groves (3/8" wide by 1/4" deep) in my cabinet doors. I used a router to remove the old paint and grime, then a couple of coats of bondo and sanding with a belt sander gave the cabinet doors very clean & modern look. I did not have any issues with cracking or the bondo pulling away from the wood.

OK
Would RecommendWorked as it is created to do but it appears that a larger tube of hardener should be with it.

Same as standard automotive body filler
Would RecommendIt is the standard "Bondo" type body dent filler. Combining the resin and hardener is a bit of an "art". If you are using a portion of the can, you use a proportionately smaller amount of hardener to resin being mixed. The smaller the amount you use the tougher it is to squeeze out the correct "drops" of hardener. It cures fast and the amount of hardener can affect the speed of the cure.
