What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this flooring pull bar as an indispensable, time-saving tool for installing laminate, vinyl plank, and hardwood flooring. Most find it essential for closing gaps and maneuvering planks in tight spaces, with many stating they couldn't complete projects without it. However, some report the striking end bends or deforms when struck with metal hammers, though reviewers note using a rubber or dead-blow hammer prevents this issue. A few experience breakage on first use. Despite durability concerns under improper use, most customers consider it a worthwhile investment for flooring installation.

Cheap but Effective
Would RecommendThis bar works well but just know the end you hit will bend. Hitting it with a mallet caused it to bend after enough use. I had to place it in my vice and bend it back into shape. If you have a vice to straighten it back out, it should last long enough to get you through one flooring job.
Horrible product
Would Not RecommendThis item is necessary for installing locking floor systems. However it is not made to hold up during installation. This product is weak and bends with little effort. Needs to be made of stronger steel.

Much needed tool
Would RecommendQuite the handy too when installing Vinyl Plank flooring. It helps get that last fraction of an inch to fully lock in the planks. At first I didn't have the tool and now wouldn't do another flooring project without it.

Weak
Would Not RecommendThis tool did not last the entire project. It bent and would not be able to move the flooring.

Flooring Pull Bar for installing laminate floring
Would RecommendPricey for a piece of metal that might be a one-time use for many DIYers. Yet, I bought it and it is doing exactly what I need it to do. I don't have a dead-blow hammer so I am using a rubber mallet. For this tool and the rest of the tapping, I recommend the dead-blow hammer. I'll get one tomorrow. I have noticed that the side you need to hit is bending. It's no longer at 90 degrees.
Worked Good, but Bent with Extended Use
Would RecommendThis Pull Bar definitely did the trick in the hard to reach edges, but over time, the edge that I kept hitting with the dead blow mallet, ended up bending down at least 45 degrees. It just barely survived about 1,000 sq. ft. of flooring install. Would love it if it was made out of a more durable metal.
Works
Would RecommendIt is an invaluable tool for doing any click together flooring. I used to have one much stronger than this. I am disappointed by the smaller size and overall less durable frame of this particular pull bar. But it does work just fine for the vast majority of the install. When trying to move a large section this one just isn't up to the task.
