Ratings & Reviews for Blaster Lubricant 18.0 Ounce(s) Penetrating oils/solvents

What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the exceptional penetrating power for loosening rusted and frozen parts, with many reporting success on bolts stuck for years and frozen components within minutes. Reviewers consistently note it outperforms alternatives and works reliably even after prolonged rust exposure. However, a notable concern emerges: many report premature propellant loss in spray cans, with some becoming unusable after using only a quarter of the contents. Despite the formula's excellence, this recurring packaging failure frustrates users and drives some to switch products. Overall, most customers consider the core performance outstanding but wish the cans matched the formula's reliability.

ProStraw makes B'laster a D'Saster
Would Not RecommendAs with many other customers, PB has been my go-to rust penetrant for years, but I am about to switch to a competitor because the packaging has rendered the product completely useless. The dispenser straw is awkwardly sized and fragile, and the cans often run out of propellant after dispensing only 1/2 - 3/4 of the penetrant. Disappointing to say the least.

Good product, bad can.
Would RecommendI think this is a great product. However, the can sucks. The last 2 cans stopped spraying penetrant about 1/2 through. They seemed to just spray air for a minute and then stopped spraying all together. Maybe this is by design so we buy more.

Fantastic Product
Would RecommendI HAD a rusted bolt in the umbrella stand of my porch table. I tries using vise grips and monster channelocks to try to remove the bolt. All I did was strip the threads on the bolt. Bought some Blaster Penetrating Catalyst, spray some on the bolt and waited a bit. Tries to remove the bolt, but no go. Used the hammer, per instructions on can, sprayed again and waited. Tried the channel locks and the bolt came loose! I’m a big fan of this stuff now.

The manufacturer forgot something.
Would Not RecommendBought a full can. Got home and there was no propellant in the can. It won't even drip out.
