Good tool

Being 6 foot I just wish it was a little longer, otherwise it is a good tool.

Not enough power

My weeds laughed at this poor thing and the battery died 30 minutes in. I was trying get the weeds from around the base of the house and they weren't budging. I miss my old Grasshog so much. That thing that it was a lawnmower! I'll be returning this Lil Engine that couldn't today!

No Battery Life

Fully charged the battery overnight. It then worked for only 20 minutes. It's going right back. I will not buy B&D again.

Handy!

It has good cutting ability, and is light and easy to manoeuvre. We have a steep slope garden and grass and it is much easier to use than our larger heavier and corded trimmer.

Trigger mechanism broke within a year

If you buy this, you'd better make sure there's a B&D service center within driving distance. This product had a very cheap feeling from the beginning, but I wasn't giving it very hard work and it worked adequately for about a year. That's when the trigger mechanism broke. Now it can't be turned on at all, and while its technically within the warranty period, the cost of shipping it to a B&D service center is the same as the amount I paid for the trimmer in the first place.

Quiet and smooth

Long lasting battery. Cuts just what I need, light and easy to handle.

Small but effective trimmer

Purchased for lawn upkeep and trimming by concrete and fencing. It does a nice job, and the battery stays charged for about 2 hours of continuous heavy trimming use.

Best weedtrimmer

This is replacement for the one I've had for past 6 years. Works great, string feeds great, and it's lightweight. Turns both ways to either edge sidewalk or trim grass against the house or fence edges. Uses batteries is a plus for me, no stinky gas to deal with. Have several B&D tools all use same battery size so can interchange for spare if needed. Great product!

Light weight and easy to use

At 84 years young I started having balance problems which made my Black and Decker corded weed eater difficult for me to use. My wife used it, but complained about the cord and the weight. I bought this lithium battery powered weed eater and we both love it. The charge on the battery lasts plenty long for our needs and the weight is perfect for both of us.

Great trimmer!

This is my first cordless trimmer. I'm glad I got this, it's much easier to use than the corded ones.

Best electric weed eater ever.......

I got my tremor a few months ago and I fell in love with it the first time I used it. It's lightweight has 30 minutes to an hour of battery life. anyone who's looking for an electric weed eater I definitely recommend this one.

Edges like an edger!

This edger does a great job. It does exactly what it's supposed to do, and it's lightweight. Way to go B+D!

Get's the Job Done

This String Edger is lightweight but does a great job. I have a large yard and have bought extra battery this gets the job done... Would Buy it again.

Nice, but lightweight for use in small area

the trimmer is what it's described to be, but not for heavy duty use.

Small Areas Only

Bought this a few weeks ago and found a couple of shortcomings. Battery doesn’t maintain charge long enough to finish my small yard. Also string stays too short for thorough cutting much of the time.
