Terrible trimmer

Had a Black &Decker trimmer for years, figuring it was time for a new one I went with Black & Decker again. Big mistake! The trim line didn't stop feeding! Used it twice and returned it! I liked that the battery fit my blower!

Do not waste your money!!!!

This is the worst trimmer/edger I've had the misfortune to use. The line does not feed properly and it gets stuck in the casing. I will be returning it.

Automatic feed

It doesn’t work on the automatic feed. This is twice I’ve bought it and it still didn’t work. Other than that it’s good for my small yard. (If I could afford a more expensive one of another brand I’d buy it.)

Weed eater

Light easy to use. Feed string without problems. Love this

Battery is poooooo

The battery lasts for about 30min and then it's time for a 4-5 hour recharge.

Self-feeding line is good.

.065 line is good for small jobs. Battery is compatible with many tools.

Poorly made

Have had to replace every year. Very poorly made. We have small property and this one has not even lasted a season before squealing, the lock to hold extended rod does not hold so it shrinks while using, battery dosen't last long enough to weed eat even small property ...I have B&D hedgr cutters that have lasted years..but this..not worth the money.

I love the way it folds up

I bought this for my RV to maintain my site it works great slicing through the grass and it folds up to store in my compartment

Lightweight!

Love the trimmer. It is light weight and powerful. Have edged every inch of my property. Looks so good. Like that battery can be stored in charger so it is always ready!

Works great!

So far it works really well! It lost a bit of power when battery isn't fully charged, but since i have 2 others battery (with my drill), it is not an issue at all.

Beware of “returned” packages/products

Here’s the problem with ordering online - when I picked up the trimmer at the store the box looked to be all re-taped (one that I would have passed over on the shelf) like it had been a return. I really needed to use the trimmer the next day so I took it. Well, of course, it had been opened/returned and there was no battery in the package now. I have other B & D tools so I do have batteries and I just used it, and now it’s really not returnable. I know this was my choice, and had I been will...

Disappointed

I've had this product for over a month and just used it for the 3rd time. My biggest complaint is the battery life. My yard is small and I can't get through the whole yard in one charge. It only lasts 20-25 minutes. I have also had problems with the string feeding properly. I have owned a Craftsman weed eater before, and did not have these problems.
