Horrible experience!

Could not buy any Hedge trimmer at local Lowes because my Lowes card did not work???? Had $500 credit available, had spent hundreds weeks before with no problem! Came home, ordered online, went to store and picked up. No User/product brochure included!!! Charged battery BUT battery would not charge. Used several outlets throughout the house. Would not charge. Don’t buy what you can’t see/handle.

I bought the Black and Decker trimmer out of the store’s computer because store didn’t stock product. Trimmer was fine but the battery was dead. I tried to return the battery but was told by Lowe’s staff that entire product had to be returned. That would have cost me another week of hedge/bush growth. Give me a new battery!

Poor customer service

The battery was defective and would not charge. I asked Lowe's to exchange the bad battery for a good one. They could not do that. I had to return the whole thing. I asked to purchase another but they had none in stock. So I bought one from another store and the battery is fine.

Worth It

Cuts and trims very well. I use 2 batteries so I can rotate them out

Defective Battery

Was excited about having a cordless hedge trimmer but the battery was defective(ie would not charge). The date on the product was almost ten years old so perhaps not surprising that the battery was a dud.

Bad Battery

Product looks very solid but it is ridiculous to continue to sell with a known battery issue - should offer addtional new battery as an add-on to this product.

Disappointed

I ordered this as a store pickup and waited a week for it to arrive. At pickup I could immediately tell it was a return as the box had been torn and there was lots of tape around it. After attaching the handle and guard I tried to charge it but the battery never charged. It just kept blinking red. I have a neighbor who loves his so I probably just got a bad one. I returned it and bought a Craftsman that they had in stock.

The new battery has no power and will not charge?

The battery will not charge and does not run the clippers. I tried another charger but it also only blinks red and will not charge the new battery.

Exactly what I wanted! Works with the same battery as my other B & D tools.

Received yesterday and discovered enclosed battery was no good. You would think that item(s) would be tested BEFORE it was shipped. Unfortunately, according to Lowes I need to return the entire order, get a credit, and order again. Black and Decker was ZERO help.

Another bad battery review

I ordered this knowing with the reviews that I may need to return this product because of the bad batteries people were getting, but Lowe's is close enough to me to gamble on a return since the price was better that anyone else. Do not buy

Purchased a month ago, battery would not take a charge. Could not return without paying shipping. Been waiting for a replacement battery for a month now.

2nd Time for a Return

I have several B&D Battery lawn tools. This has the same battery as the others. Twice it came in and both times the battery was dead and not able to take a charge.
