Lowe’s is an honorable company.
This order was a replacement order. Both orders came with a dead and defective battery. Lowe’s was very amenable but ultimately said to just return the second delivery. I discarded the entire first delivery as it was not usable, or return requested. I was frustrated that Lowe’s could not just send me a battery. I have the exact same item at another location and it is five star. I guess my only option is to wait a while and try again.

Good trimmer however battery DOA
Battery would not charge. When charge was attempted, Battery light only flashed red when connected to the charger. I dont recommend buying this product if you dont have other batteries that will fit as it seems to be a common problem with this particular bundle.

I replaced my old corded electric B&D trimmer with this battery operated one. Seems well made, lightweight and cuts well. The only downside was the included battery arrived DOA and would not take a charge. Fortunately I have several other B&D appliances that use the same battery. Battery will not charge
Battery charger would rapidly blink red. Checked battery voltage and it had just over 1 volt. This is the second attempt through Lowes. I did buy one from Runnings and it had the same problem. I do have another B&D trimmer and batteries and they work fine. It looks to me that B&D has a bad batch of batteries.
