Great saw for it's intended purpose!

This is a great little saw! With a strong battery it cuts well, is lightweight, easy to use/operate and you just need to be aware of it's capabilities and limitations. The only thing I don't "like" is the manual oiler but knew that's what it had and I wanted the 20V model to share batteries/chargers with other tools. I love inserting a battery, checking the oil and being ready to go! No trying to start the engine and keep it running while moving the wood for a better cut!

Lightweight Chainsaw for Mature Lady to Handle

I bought this particular chainsaw on a recommendation by a friend and he was absolutely right. I was looking for something to cut brush and a few trees but it needed to be lightweight for me to handle. I don't mind admitting I am a 64 year old woman and this was perfect! Has quite a bit of power to it as well. I am very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend it!

does what it says

I bought this to trim tree limbs from 20 year old pines and had doubts about its ability. On the 20v battery I run other tools from, it did an amazingly easy job of trimming good size branches.

Light weight and Easy to Operate

Have had this saw two years. It is the easiest to use chainsaw I have ever use. Works really great for those quick trimming jobs or to trim limbs off of a downed tree. Only problem I've had is the chain oil tends to leak.

Great for small jobs

Comes in handy to trim back limbs or cut up larger limbs fallen to the ground. Light, always starts, and easy for a gal to use.

Powerful Lightweight Chainsaw

Just what I was looking for a powerful lightweight chainsaw . . . although you are probably not supposed to it easy to operate with one hand. Charge is good for a number of cuts. I use it when I need to do detail cuts higher up in the canopy that I cannot reach with my gas pole saw from the ground.

Best Electric Chainsaw

We have used the Black + Decker chainsaw for many, many years! Our older one "bit the dust". It is perfect for cutting limbs too big for us to haul away. We bought 3 to use at our house, on our farm and a spare in case they discontinue. It is a perfect size. Love how it uses the 20-volt battery we use on the weed eater and blower (our older one used a larger battery). The price was unbeatable when Lowes had them on sale. The Black + Decker saw is one of those must haves! Absolutely LOVE it!

Good little saw

Got this about a month ago. Used one charged 20 volt battery while the 20V max charged. Had to switch out but still made the job so much easier. No problem cutting through several 6 inch limbs and then cutting them done to a size form them to be hauled off and for fire wood.

Works well as trimming saw

Bought this as a trimming saw. works well and love its battery operated. It easy to grab for those quick jobs that come up. It’s a good idea to have extra battery

Battery operated chainsaw

I had an earlier version Ryobi chainsaw and it didn’t work well. I bought a Black &Decker battery pole saw, and loved how well it worked; and was totally thrilled that the 20v battery lasted so long. So, when I decided to replace my plug-in electric chainsaw I opted for the Black & Decker 20v chainsaw. It works as well as the pole saw, and the battery lasts a long time as well. I LOVE them both. I also recommended this same chainsaw to a friend of mine and he loves it too.

Chain saw

All the homeowner needs for a branch or occasional mischievous storm. Don't forget the chain oil. I like it for my needs, no pull start issues, just charge and go with press of button. Treat it easy and it will work for you well. Mine did.

Just right

Perfect size and weight for me (65+ chick) to take care of small trees and bushes around the edge of my tree line.

Black and Decker 10" Chain Saw

I am not impressed and seriously disappointed. I used gas powered chain saws for many years and needed to try something lighter due to arthritis. I unboxed this "toy", charged the battery for several hours and by the time the battery was charged, it was dark outside, so figured I'd wait until the following day to cut some overgrown azaleas branches. The next day, saw wouldn't work. Appears the battery needed to be recharged............FROM DOING NOTHING!! Battery is plugged in to charger now,...

Small, but gets the job done!

The smaller blade took care of trimming a tree that was wildly over grown. Now I use it to cut up smaller logs that are dropped off in my fireplace wood loads. The ones too small to cut up with the big chainsaw. It runs on a battery, so I can use it all over my yard on overgrown trees, or bring it to wherever the wood load is dropped off. Love it!

Nice Saw !

Used on a 5 inch tree. Cut it right up. Love the fact batteries. Are Interchangeable with other Black & Decker Tools !

I have a gas chain saw, but for smaller jobs this is just the tool. Very pleased with it.
