What Customers Are Saying
The 20V cordless chainsaw is a lightweight and maneuverable tool suitable for small to medium-sized trimming and cutting tasks. Many users find it easy to operate, with good battery life and power to handle branches up to 6-8 inches. However, it may struggle with larger logs or tougher wood, and the manual oiler has caused issues for some. Overall, it appears to be a reliable and convenient option for homeowners with light to moderate cutting needs.
Customer review summary generated by AI, including incentivized reviews.I bought this for my 82 year old dad who lives with me. We have an old gas powered chain saw that works great but is too much for him. My neighbor let him try his battery chain saw and he loved it. Since we already have 2 battery Black and Decker weed trimmers, this fit the bill very well. The batteries are interchangeable and the saw is quite powerful. We live on the coast of NC where we had that bad hurricane in Sept. 2018 so we needed another saw for clean up. This works wonderfully.

Great saw for the small job
Would RecommendWith woods all along the access to our new property, 1/2 mile, there is a lot of opportunity for stuff to come down. This saw handles almost all that so we can just toss it in the truck on our way in.

Would RecommendGreat for small limbs don't have to spend time & money on fuel & frustration on a gas chain saw.

Oops, is this as long as it is?
Would RecommendThe cutting blade was rather surprising. It is only 1/2 of the one pictured, even here. The engine is very powerful and very tight. As it is now, I expect it to run for quiet some time. It is well put together, and I will see if there is a possibility of getting a larger blade and chain.

BLACK AND DECKER CORDLESS ELECTRIC CHAINSAW
Would RecommendSince I am the one using it (female) I will rate this purchase. It is exactly what I needed to trim my crepe myrtles and various other shrubs and trees that i am unable to cut with my hedge trimmer. Both the hedge trimmer and chain saw are Black and Decker and take the same battery - so it was really great to have the backup battery since it took me longer than one battery's life. I would recommend this to anyone - male or female! It is a great product, lightweight and very easy to handle! ...
