Simple, does the job

I needed a cordless drill to do a couple of simple jobs and this did the trick. The cons are single speed and no place for the free screwdriver bit.

budget power driver

great deal for a budget unit. charge more than adequate, as is the power, I did need to purchase more bits because needed more length to reach screws but would have needed no mater what drill I bought.

Good for average homeowner

I bought this drill when my drill broke. I didn’t realize how slow a 12v drill is. My broken drill was an 18v, and I didn’t realize this one was only 12v. It’s a good little drill for the average homeowner, but as someone who does woodworking as a hobby, it is not for me. I returned this drill for the 20v black and decker drill. The 20v is much better than the 12v, however the clutch only goes up to 10. If you like to countersink your screws, you might should go with a different drill altogether...

PERFECT FOR ME

THIS WAS JUST WHAT I NEEDED FOR AROUND THE HOUSE. NICE LIGHTWEIGHT TOOL TO TAKE ON SMALL TASK.

Good if you need a variable speed screwdriver...

I was in the store looking for a variable speed cordless screwdriver that was less than $100. I did not find any cordless screwdrivers, but I did find this. Works great if you have a lot of screws to work with!

I got what I paid for, maybe more.

I purchased this for my wife as a Christmas gift. She likes it. We have both used it for different jobs. I’m not fond of the trigger response but it’s probably because I so used to my Makita. I think it’s a great drill for the price and is a good addition to an “in the house” tool box.

Perfect size & weight

I wanted a cordless drill to do light duty chores (cabinet hardware, pictures, repairs etc) this drill fit the weight and size perfectly and also had a lot of power

Good quality for the price!

I like the fact that it is light weight enough that I can handle it. It is powerful so worked well to drive the screws into the hard wood. I also like that it can be left plugged in all the time ensuring that it is charged when needed.

Little powerhouse

We replaced a much smaller electric (cordless) screwdriver with this model (both were Black + Decker). This drill/screwdriver has double the amount of torque, is simple to use, and having the LED light is a big help. It took very little time to charge initially, and I am very pleased with this tool. It was a GREAT value for the money

Black & Decker 12-Volt

Had a old Black & Decker cordless drill that I've had for over 15 years and the battery wouldn't take a charge. It was cheaper to purchase this model then a new battery. It's only a 12 volt but has the power to do the odd jobs around the house that need taken care of.
