I got this drill over 12 years ago. I am amazed that it's still working just as good as when I got it. I still have the original charger and battery and I've never had an issue with it. There aren't enough products you find these days that are reasonably priced that also last more than a few years. This has outlasted many vehicles, phones, furniture, and went far beyond my expectations. I finally had to write a review on it.

No extra batteries for sale

For crying out loud, I wish I had done a little research before buying this drill. I just needed a handy drill, something that did the small and odd jobs I needed. These days I've been finding myself needing to use it more and more often, still nothing as intense as major construction projects, but it's getting irritating having to stop because the battery is dead/dying. Don’t Buy!

This drill is absolutely terrible. No matter how much you charge it, what holes you drill before you put the screws in, and how much pressure you put In, it will not screw wood together. Spend the extra money and get something other than this.

Perfect for small hands and beginners.

I have somewhat small hands that are relatively weak compared to others, and they fatigue quickly. This drill is lightweight and easy for me to use. I like the light on it, which is quite helpful in small poorly lighted areas. I have very little experience with power tools and this makes me feel like quite the DIYer. DIY Home Tool

This is a great tool for a few small holes. This is not a tool to be used daily or for long periods of time. Anyone used to DeWalt or other professional brands will be disappointed in run time, power, and drill speed. This is a great tool for a home owner wanting to drill a few holes or drive screws when assembling items. Don't expect this to drill into hardend concrete or any metal over 1/16" thick. It shouldn't have stars at all! Very disappointed with this product. It's practically brand new! I'm not able to recharge the battery at all.

Good for average homeowner

I bought this drill when my drill broke. I didn’t realize how slow a 12v drill is. My broken drill was an 18v, and I didn’t realize this one was only 12v. It’s a good little drill for the average homeowner, but as someone who does woodworking as a hobby, it is not for me. I returned this drill for the 20v black and decker drill. The 20v is much better than the 12v, however the clutch only goes up to 10. If you like to countersink your screws, you might should go with a different drill altogether...

Good Purchase For Smaller jobs

I recently was given this drill as a house warming gift since i just purchased my first home. The drill is great. Its lightweight while still having enough power to handle the smaller jobs i opted to fix myself around the house (tightened some handles on cabinets, installed shelves in the closet, and i also installed upgraded fans in each of the rooms). Just keeps going

Bought this one (not the current model but an older one) many years ago, and it's gotten a lot of abuse and been pushed beyond its capacity many times. 12 volts isn't the most powerful, and I'm not a contractor by any means (DIY-er), but it's been a great little workhorse. I'm at the point where I'm praying it'll break down on me so I can upgrade to more professional drills, but it... just... won't.
