Ratings & Reviews for Behrens 6 Gallon Galvanized Steel Indoor/Outdoor Detached Lid Trash Can

Nearly perfect for my needs.

I bought this to empty my ash tray into. Well made, but my only nitpick would be not being able to remove the labels.

Works But Wrong Lid.

Lid provided is incorrect but works. Has much wider side edges than what is shown.

well made aluminum can - rat proof!

top fits nicely, and locks with the handle. Correct size for what I need. Hoepfully it'll keep the rats out of my garden seeds!

Galvanized

The can whole almost two bags of salt. Nice tight fitting lid. Was a good purchase.

Very good size and lid fits well

This product was exactly what I was looking for. Good size and quality. Used for dog waste in yard

Good lid

Sturdy and snug fitting lid. I tilted it with very damp soil inside and no dripping which I liked.

Good

Nice, tight lid fit.

To tall

Like the size and the lid but not a fan of the handle being the only way to secure the lid with the handle having to be pulled up to secure the lid tha can has to be stored in a open space it can not be stored on a storage self that’s my reason for subtracting a star

Perfect ash bucket

Perfect size to use for cleaning ashes out of the fireplace. The lid adds extra protection should there be hot embers mixed in.

miniature trash barrel

I don't understand the complaints. This is made just like their steel trash barrels, smaller and with a bail instead of 2 loop handles. The lid fits exactly as it's intended to fit, and the bail is kinked to lock the lid in place. I think only a padlock could stop a determined racoon, and only a vault could stop a bear, but this is proof against everything else, including wind and mice. I'm only using it for wood ash, but even that benefits from a lid that won't blow off, or fall off if you trip...

Large capacity, great for holding fireplace issues

Excellent, quick delivery
