Ratings & Reviews for Backyard Discovery Norwood 20-ft x 12-ft Hardtop Roof Steel Gazebo

Ease of construction, beautiful result

This product came in several boxes, safely and appropriately packed. None of the cartons were too heavy that they couldn't be easily moved with a standard hand truck. My wife and I spent the first afternoon building each end piece. The following day, we built the middle section. With the help of a neighbor, we were able to assemble all three sections of the frame in less than 40 minutes. We had to wait one or two days because of bad weather, but managed to install all four roof sections in abou...

Beautiful gazebo

We are extremely happy with our new gazebo. Great addition to our backyard.

Gazebo

purchased last month and assembled with 3 friends. The assembly was not as easy as the video but was not too much work. Read everything before assembly start. looks GREAT!

Loving it

Purchased the Norwood 10x12 and it's perfect! Sat under it last night in the pouring rain. Installer was great and more than worth the cost. Anxious for Backyard Discovery to include mosquito netting and curtains in their offerings.

Backyard gazebo build.

You have to really pay attention to the detailed instructions. If you follow the directions you will not have any problems. The 2 different size washers for each bolt was painful at times but you have to follow the directions. I’m 65 years old and built this over 2 weekends at my own pace. I found the use of a ratchet strap helpful in keeping the roof panels square and did not screw the cross pieces for the roof panels until I had the framework square. I also used the ratchet strap to help pull...

Best Gazebo Out There

I can’t say enough good things about this gazebo. First of all the instructions were provided in an app that was super interactive. You could pinch and zoom and rotate each detailed step. I absolutely loved the instructions. The materials were great quality, the holes all matched up, this thing was a dream to assemble. The only thing that would have made things any easier is if the hardware for each step were combined into bags that included the parts needed for each step, instead of having...

Great addition

We have had our pavilion(Norwood) up for a year now, and we love it. It does take time to put together and get it squared. Our father in law helped us with it, and we finished it in a couple of days.

Perfect for our yard! A quality product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love, love, LOVE, our gazebo! We do a lot of outdoor entertaining and this gazebo was PERFECT for our yard. We chose to stain the wood to match our tiki shed. We customized it further with tiki/ beach themed items and an outdoor T.V. We get so many compliments from our guests! The gazebo kit arrived with easy to follow instructions and my husband was able to assemble it with only a little help along the way. This is a quality product and is ...

Looks Amazing

We bought this a couple of months ago for an added look to our ranch entryway. It looks like Christmas Magic now. Thinking up ways to decorate for other seasons. The compliments from all that have seen it have been wonderful. Postal Carrier made a point to stop and tell us how much she likes the new look.

Great addition to our patio

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this at the end of April this year, had it installed in May. It looks great in our yard and we are very happy with it so far. We had professional people do the installation.

Awesome Gazebo

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace a smaller one that had a fabric top, so glad I did. Kit arrived in multiple boxes and to my surprise No damage. Great instructions and between my wife I we were able to get it together in a couple days. All the holes were correctly placed and as long as you follow the directions I believe anyone could put this together. This will be the first Colorado winter it will go through and I believe that it should have no problems...

Sturdy Gazebo

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very pleased with this Gazebo that replaced the Metal one that was destroyed by Hurricane Ian. Very Sturdy and has held up to the weather where we are right on the water. The electrical box already on the Gazebo made it easy to hook it up for electricity. Paid for crew to erect the unit and they were very knowable and professional.

Great addition to the park

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased two of these gazebos for the HOA park. They made a great addition and look really nice. Excellent looking construction. The team of assemblers put them together expediently. One post came with some shipping gouges and customer service was quick to send out a replacement. Forgive the white specks in the photos, we are getting ready to test the snow load. Now we just need to find someone who can build a matching unit 24x12.

Beautiful Gazebo!

The quality of the wood exceeded my expectations and everyone that has seen it just Loves it. This is a Quality product for a Fair price. I live in Michigan and this provides premium shelter year round. I have added brown tarps for the winter and a patio heater and am extremely satisfied.

Looks great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had purchased a Backyard Discovery playset in the past and were happy with the product so when looking do build a pavilion we decided to order this one. We live in Northern Minnesota and wanted something attractive and sturdy enough to withstand the snow. My husband opted to stain each piece prior to building it, we put it together ourselves, we couldn’t be happier with the results.
