difficult to assemble

I recently completed erecting this gazebo and I found it to be more difficult to assemble than I thought it would be. I felt that the hardware could have been more simplified being too many different parts and assembling the wood to coincide with it became a chore. I would highly recommend the lay person not attempting to do it yourself.

Great looking

Beautiful addition to our new patio! The gazebo is well made (putting it together was a bit of a process but worth it!). Color, finish, size (we have a gas grill and smoker underneath it with room to spare). Have not yet found stools for it but can’t wait to order some to finish it off.

Very nice piece for your property! Website offers someone to put it together for you for an expensive price. Honestly this project was over whelming coming out of the box.. full table of hardware (nuts, washers and bolts) 2 tarps full of pieces to assemble. Having it together and knowing what I know now I’d pay to have it put together unless you have a solid week of nothing to do… us 2 men got it put together in 4 sun up to sun down days… The app to use to build this is absolutely awesome...

Instructions were not 100% correct. It was missing a step or tow that’s in the book. I was also missing some hardware.

Grill Gazebo Challenge

Gazebo is well made but the packaging is circumvent since parts were stuffed inside the gazebo legs. Unfortunately we didn't discover this until it was nearly completely assembled.

Saxony xl Grill Gazebo

The Saxony XL is a fantastic gazebo! The quality of the materials is incredible. The lumber is excellent quality, the fasteners are very strong, and all comes very efficiently and safely packaged. The instructions are exceptionally detailed. While rekatively easy to assemble, it does take 2 people, 3 is best when lifting the roof. We used a sealer on all wood components before assembling and allowed ample time to dry. I would have absolutely no hesitation recommending the Saxony XL Grill Gazebo...

Built it a bit differently

I would recommend this gazebo. All was well labeled and instructions were very clear. However, I mounted the roof panel after the frame was up and secured. If would have been too heavy for my wife and I to lift. We are seniors and it work out better that way for us

Unironically Loved this Build

I legitimately enjoyed this build! The app made it so much easier, but the real star of the show is the materials and hardware! You get more than enough (we all lose a few screws) and its quality parts!

Purchased this unit on a Saturday morning, by Sunday afternoon I had been notified it was already in transit, Monday morning I was notified it was in town, and by Wednesday afternoon it was in my driveway. Never got notified it was being delivered, it just showed up. I was able to assemble and get it completed in 20 hrs. including staining and protecting the woodwork, I would highly recommend sorting, inventorying, staining and waterproofing before you start assembly, assembly was not difficul...

Solid Structure

Bought about a month ago and put it together in an afternoon. We are extremely pleased so far.

Exactly what I wanted

Backyard landscaping is finally done and the gazebo could not have turned out better. Took a couple days to assemble but turned out great. I didn't way to use string lights, I grill and bbq quite a bit and there is just not enough light. I work in the lighting/electrical engineerimg industry and installed (3) LED strips with black finish to match the ceiling with all of the pipe ran on top of the cover, so it looks pretty clean and very bright.

This app is super helpful, but could be improved upon

Need to provide more detailed instructions to insure pieces are positioned correctly to avoid having to undo work and then try again.

Well planned and executed product

Perfect addition to the deck! All the components were well thought out and easy to install. Everything was well packaged, and all parts were clearly identified either stamped on the end of the wooden components or in well numbered parts bags that matched the instructions to a tee. The Bilt app makes installation a snap, as you can clearly see all parts from any angle to ensure you have the right part and that you have it aligned correctly. Love that it is made from cedar.
