We put three pergolas side-by-side on our back deck after losing all our trees to a windstorm. It has enhanced the beauty of our home. It provides a beautiful family gathering place. For the convenience of buying this pergola with all the pieces cut and pretty sanded already for a DIY assembly, as well as it being nice cedar, it truly does hit all the marks. The ambiance is quite beautiful and it is a great addition to our yard. It is pretty easy to assemble with two people. Of course, read your instructions and plan your assembly. We bought the pergola last year. It was easy to put together-just heavy! It has held up pretty good, just some knicks in the posts from kids. Would purchase again! Wish we could find out what stain they used for touch ups.

We purchased this unit last summer. It comes in extremely heavy containers. We removed the items, and laid them out by number on the garage floor to make sure all the parts were there. Due to shipping damage to the box, one set of screws was missing, and one small 2 x 2 rafter board was broken. I called Sams customer service, and they had replacement items shipped right away. Looks great, especially for the price

We purchased this pergola a year ago, so it's been assembled and exposed to the elements for a year now. It still looks great and has withstood wind, snow, and rain without a wobble.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was time consuming to put the 3 coats of spar varnish on the 150+ pieces, but well worth it in the end. We did need 4 people to lift it into the base caps for the final secure.
