Easy assembly with step by step instructions

I bought this 16x12 set and put it up very easily between my wife and I with no other help. Instructions were precise and everything lined up. Only disappointment were the cement screws they gave me in the hardware box. 3 out of the first 4 snapped off while screwing them into the predrilled holes in the concrete. I stopped immediately and drove to the hardware store and purchased Tapcon cement scres of same size. it went smoothly with the new screws. It looks awesome!

Very impressed with the quality

Looks fantastic and meets all our needs. Assembly was very well explained with diagrams and video but most important all of the bolt and screw holes lined up! We spend most evenings outside enjoying it.

Survived a Tornado!

I bought this in spring 2024 and my husband and I installed it in February of this year. We had a concrete slab poured and attached the metal plates to it after building the pergola. This past weekend we had an EF-1 tornado come through our property, winds were estimated at 110 mph, this pergola is still standing and unscathed!!! We had 30 foot trees uprooted and thrown to the ground. We are very impressed with the quality and build of this structure, 100% recommend!!!

10/10 Best Pergola I have ever seen

built this by myself. Took around 8/9 Hours with breaks etc. The instructions on the app are very straightforward to follow.

Good product, better service

The pergola itself is fine. It has some weird gaps in the joinery as you might expect from something manufactured in China. But both the customer support team and the assembly folks were great. Very responsive, very friendly, very quick to resolve issues. I would buy from them again just because the customer service was exceptional

It’s ok

Just bought 2 of the 16x12 pergolas to sit side by side. The first thing I noticed is the color is completely off from the photos online. One of the reasons I chose this pergola was because the color matched the rest of the wood in my yard. I understand that screens can distort color a bit but this is extreme and MUCH lighter than anticipated. It does state in the description that saturation can vary but I don’t even think it’s a saturation issue as it is maybe only 1 coat of stain added as opp...

Color is perfect, love charging station!

Bought the unit a month ago; had a concrete pad installed, then built the unit with three generations, great fun! Used both written and video instructions. Both were excellent.

Beautiful but broken

I had our pergola installed before winter. It was a lovely spring day and we went out to see it up close for the first time and a beam is cracked. I was hoping to hang swings but now I’m concerned about the weight bearing aspect. We did have it anchored in cement.

Good quality, real cedar, not too hard to build

The end result was better than expected. Our pergola looks great, is built solid and adds great appeal to our backyard

Started with just myself up thru STEPS 7, then two men for STEPS 8, 11, 14 thru 16, and 18. Most of the entire family joined in from this point on. Preliminary assembly and assembly-STEPS 1 thru 7, 9 thru 10, 12 thru 13, and 17 I did in my garage while waiting for HOA approval and concrete slab completion. Durable, affordable, and great looking pergola!

We have been waiting for years to create a patio space and this pergola is everything we could have hoped for! We absolutely love the aesthetic; it was straightforward to assemble; and it fit within our budget! We wanted one that could withstand high winds. It is already been wind and kid tested, and we couldn't be happier. Thank you for making our backyard dreams come true!

Transformed our back yard!!!

The new pergola has made a huge difference in the appearance and usability of our back yard. The build took around 5 hours from boxes to built and was super easy to do. We're looking into adding the Saxony XL grilling gazebo down the road as well, in part because of how well-manufactured and easy the pergola project went.

Well made went together just as advertised

I used the optional assembly service and that was frustrating. They went thru several people trying to get it assembled, finally on try #6 we got it done but I wasted a lot of time from work going home just to have nobody show up. It's large and bulky to assemble so trying to do it by myself wasn't really an option. But overall the pergola itself is great. Only complaint is it feels short to me, I wish it was a foot taller
