Decent pergola

Took wife and I around 9 hours to complete. Pay attention to the pilot holes for the corbels on the posts. Fairly smooth until one already split corbel came apart and had to be glued and finish nailed back together. The 14 top purlins were warped and don't fit together well. Had to redrill a lot of pilot holes as they didn't line up. Otherwise it looks good and much sturdier than our former metal unit.

12x14 Beaumont Pergola is FANTASTIC addition

Delivery turned out to be a bit more of a challenge than anticipated, but the folks at Backyard Discovery handled the issue with professionalism and for that we are endebted. It took us a Saturday to construct the pergola and the kit went together without a hitch. The finished product is pictured below and we LOVE IT! We whole heartidly recommend the pergola and Backyard Discovery!

Excellent product and product and service!

Very nice product for the money. We received this a couple of months ago, and took our time sorting and staining Redwood. We only had two boards that were warped severely, but they were replaced within two days. Excellent service from the company on any parts or replacement boards that you need!

If you are on the fence deciding whether or not to purchase, make the purchase. We bought ours this past July and have been making it our own ever since. When we first received our on time shipment, we thought we better check all the parts right away in case we needed anything replaced. Measurements are not what you think

Beautiful but not as large as expected. We purchased the 12x14 and once assembled, the space between posts (actual usable space under the pergola) was 9x11. I wish it had been a little more clear somewhere that those measurements listed are for the absolute widest points, the slats across the roof, not actual measurements that you’ll be using on the ground. Feels misleading.

Great looking Pergola

Purchased several months ago and finally had the time to assemble. I hired help and it went up easily and quickly. It took 2 guys about 5 hours to assemble. It helped to have all the parts laid out. I love and plan to put shade cloth over the top for extra shade in the summer.

Exceptional Bang for you Buck$

I purchased the 16x12 May of 2022 with the hopes of getting it up by July for a large family gathering and overall better backyard aesthetic. Things did not go as planned. The four boxes it arrived in sat on the side of my house until September 2nd 2023. I fully expected there to be rot and all kinds of damage since I live in the PNW with lots of moisture. Hard to put together

This is a nice pergola, but I can’t give it 5 stars for the following reasons: 1. Some of the boards were warped when we unpackaged them 2. As a result of the boards being warped, some of the holes did not line up. 3. Written instructions were a little confusing It is nice and sturdy. Because we live in Florida my husband secured the legs to a concrete poured base

Great Pergola!

We looked at many different pergolas before deciding to go with this. It is absolutely perfect for our back yard. It is sturdy, and I have no doubt that it will be able to withstand all the weather elements. We did stain it before we put it together as was suggested. Family and friends have asked where they can buy one too! Shipping and delivery was easy, the delivery company that delivered the boxes were very nice and made sure it was away from the road.

Boxes were heavy, difficult to move.

Product came in three boxes, all items were in good shape, no damage considering how far the items had to travel. Items went together just like instructions said. Pergola is beautiful. It took me four days to put together. I did it by my self. Worth every penny.

It comes with 4 HEAVY boxes.

We love the pergola on our patio extension. We had a professional assemble it and it took 3 men 4 hours to put together. We thought about trying it but are pretty happy we did not.
