Does add a nice glow around the TV. It does help when watching the TV at night. It does seem to light up the picture a bit for the darker scenes. They used it while watching TV or when playing their video games. The auraLED mood light gives off a bright glow when set to a brighter hue. The control of the effects with the remote is great. Very easy to use and install. I highly recommend.

The length was a bit weird for my TV- it was hard to see where the end of the string would end up, so I ended up with an uneven patch on the side of TV. It has a fun remote where you can quickly select the color. There is also a setting to control the brightness and tempo of the color. Overall this was a fun product to test! Calming and pretty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried out my MagicTV USB LED Mood Light, first I had to check out where I had a spare USB port, found one on the front of the cable box and I also remembered that I have a USB plug that you plug into the wall if you need it. I got it set up around the back side of my tv and it was pretty cool, I love the light behind the tv. I like that it comes with a color coded remote and instructions of course.
