Would RecommendI was removing about 500 sq ft of carpet to install hardwood flooring. There were probably a thousand staples remaining from the foam padding. I first used a screwdriver which took hours and since every staple still held a small amount of green foam under it, the staple position was difficult to see. I bought the Arrow staple removal tool and immediately saw a vast improvement and ease. I then could do 25 to 30 staples a minute. No problems with the tool. Best 5 bucks I ever spent at Lowe’s.
This staple puller is too thick to get under the staples. The puller should have a thinner point and then go to thicker to lift old staples. Total waste of $$$

Having reservations as to how effective this would be, I decided to purchase it anyway since the price was low. Boy was I surprised! This worked much better than I thought it would. I'm very pleased. Definitely buy one for yourself - it's much better than using a screwdriver or old fashioned staple remover. Better and so easy.
