I recently purchased this riveting tool to aid in the remodeling of my aluminum boat. The tool functions well as expected. According to my mechanic, the swivel head helps reach in difficult places, where a stationary head will not work. Cheaply made junk
Would Not RecommendI'd never used it for anything but the tiniest rivets until today. After installing about twelve 3/16" rivets the gun stripped out where the nose tip screws in and let the nose tip fall out. IT'S CHEAP SOFT ALUMINUM!!! It was still useable, so I continued attempting to use it. A few rivets later the inside pieces broke that clamp and pull the rivet stem when riveting. Total junk. DO NOT BUY!!!
