Would RecommendI really appreciate getting stainless steel staples that do not rust apart in short time. I have used a carton and a half and had maybe one staple actually jam. The 1/2 inch size was good for my application, but they did not penetrate the wood fully; and tapping lightly with a hammer to snug the staple fully touching, only bent the staple legs. I think my application needed a heavier gauge of metal in the staples. So I subtracted one star for too-thin metal.

Would RecommendOnly stainless steel staples Lowe's carried in-store. Wish I could have found additional sizes, but these did the trick. Have not had them in long-enough to determine whether they will hold up to the elements better than non-stainless staples.
