Would Not RecommendOrdered one mailbox and the paint was scuffed off the top. Ordered a second mailbox and the back was dented. Ordering a third to see if Lowe’s can be successful at delivering a not damaged mailbox.
Specs on box
Bought the LARGE elite mailbox and was sent the medium mailbox. There were no specs on the box or any indication that this was a Medium. Wouldn’t have been hard to have better identification on the box. Ordered another box from A e Hardware where it’s easier to deal with ordering and returns.
Large Mailbox
I just bought a larger mailbox last week to replace my smaller one. For some reason when they seem to place bigger packages in my old mailbox and I have to fight just to get it out. This way It’ll be easier for everyone. The latch isn’t as tight as my old mailbox sometime they, but it is weather resistance.
My mail box got damaged by the mail carrier and had to replace it. Not alike the old one but the size is great. Thanks

Good mailbox but check for dents!
Large size is great as well as the finish. however, the first one I bought online with store pickup had dents all over, especially on the lid and edges. I had to go back to the store and find one that wasn’t dented because a majority of them were. I recommend going in the store and buying this item vs buying online so you can check for damage before leaving the store.

Not Worth It
Would Not RecommendIs cheaply made and I would be afraid to use it. Doesn't come with hardware. Has a lip around the box to force you to use posts with no back. Not a good recommendation.
High Quality, Spacious Mailbox with Great Features
Would RecommendThis mailbox was easy to install. It has a solid catch that stays closed and can be adjusted to your preferred level of effort when opening. The flag stays in place when up and lowers easily. there is no wasted space inside that would limit the size of packages and the amount of mail that could fit. I would buy this again for sure. My mail carrier loves it!
