Would RecommendNeeded a new mailbox to put out after the plow truck wrecked the last one. Decided on heavy gauge plastic over the metal. Put this on a sawhorse & bring in my good mailbox before the snow plowing begins.

Would RecommendWe bought this box 9 yrs. ago. Living on a township road mailboxes gets abused by bored teenagers and township snowplows. Our box has survived all of this and just recently a blast from what appears to be a firecracker. The front lip is broken and the is a hole in the back, and it's pretty dirty inside now, but the door still works. I attached a photo of the inside of the box. Not bad for a $12 mailbox. I'll replace it just because I'm too OCD. I'm buying the same mailbox.

Would Not RecommendThere is not a latch to keep the door closed. After I installed the mailbox I found the door hanging open 4 times in 24 hours. If we had gotten any rain the mail would have gotten wet.
