I bought this about a month ago to surprise my mom while she was out of town. The overall quality for the price didn't match up! This was almost a $100 mailbox.... But it was easily scratched and the black paint was already peeling off instantly!? I ended up spray painting it to hide defects. Thankfully the main function of WHY I bought it for her works ok- her old mailbox would close but only with extra effort and an added shove that most mail persons don't do and she'd end up with wet/soggy ru...

Would RecommendThis mailbox is very nice and easy to install. Why, though, did they not put a stop on the door to keep it from free swinging all the way down and continue swinging? This is extremely annoying and should have been thought of when making it.

Just opened up my new mailbox today. And honestly I don't think I've ever seen such a well made mailbox. This should last a very, very long time. Its very thick metal, has a metal handle too. Its large and enough room for smaller packages. My family was very impressed when they seen it too.
