We liked our old Gibraltar mailbox. When someone drove over our mailbox and post, we wanted a similar one. This is an exact match. We like the quality and the price was not high at all. The old one lasted 18 years, so we will likely never replace this mailbox.

Seems sturdy

Seems sturdy, easy install. I like that it won't rust and that it has the yellow 'flag' to notify you that someone has opened the box/you have a delivery.

Great sturdy mailbox

Bought this and a can of Krylon paint for plastics to make it match my house. Held paint well and easy to mount.

Nice overall mailbox

I think this is a great mailbox. Very easy to install and very sturdy for being made of plastic. Big enough to fit small packages. And very convenient with the little flag telling me that there is mail to pick up.

The yellow additional tab that sticks out is great for knowing when you have mail in the mailbox!

Large mail friendly, installer friendly mailbox

Easy to install to wooden mailbox post. Also allows for standard size magazines and large envelopes to lay flat on bottom without being bent and/or placed vertically.

Good quality

Easy install...actually took me 5 minutes to install it on my post. Only thing I needed to go find was a bit extender for my screw gun. The mailbox sides stick out about 1 1/2" from the screw holes...so an extender is a must have.

I like the handy size and I'll bet my mail deliverer does, too. The feature of showing when mail has arrived is clever and useful for me because it is 100 ft up my driveway, which isn't far except if there is no mail and it is a hot and humid Florida summer day. I wonder how long it will last, though. Might have to replace it with electric tape or soemthing eventually. Love it so much, we buy it over and over again!!!

So we live off a main, 2-lane road and our mailbox gets hit by a car once or twice a year and we have to replace it. This is the 2nd time we've used this mailbox because I love the thick plastic construction (makes it very sturdy) and most small packages can fit inside. We used to use metal mailboxes but noticed they were taking off car side mirrors so we preferred the plastic over picking up car pieces from our yard. Great mailbox

I got this because I wanted a mailbox that was big enough to hold mail plus some packages. The yellow indicator is convenient to let me know I have mail and if it's not up then I don't stop to check.

I love this Box. Can be mounted directly to a 4x4 arm typical of most posts or to piece of 1x8 that is mounted to what have you. It’s plastic so it will never rust. It would take a hit that would dent any metal Box without a problem. It’s extra wide so magazines, calendars, etc. can lay flat in the bow without being rolled up.
