Mailbox door is attached to the box by one rivet on each side. Rivet hole enlarges over time as the door is opened & closed leading to door failure and no choice but to replace the box.

Would Not RecommendOrdered one mailbox and the paint was scuffed off the top. Ordered a second mailbox and the back was dented. Ordering a third to see if Lowe’s can be successful at delivering a not damaged mailbox.
Specs on box
Bought the LARGE elite mailbox and was sent the medium mailbox. There were no specs on the box or any indication that this was a Medium. Wouldn’t have been hard to have better identification on the box. Ordered another box from A e Hardware where it’s easier to deal with ordering and returns.

I just bought a larger mailbox last week to replace my smaller one. For some reason when they seem to place bigger packages in my old mailbox and I have to fight just to get it out. This way It’ll be easier for everyone. The latch isn’t as tight as my old mailbox sometime they, but it is weather resistance.
My mail box got damaged by the mail carrier and had to replace it. Not alike the old one but the size is great. Thanks
