Would RecommendGreat post especially if you can't dig a hole in ground that is hard as a rock. It looks amazing! We look left the back post off as we used with extra large mailbox.

Would Not RecommendPurchased this to replace a mailbox post that was rotting. The metal support rod is much too flimsy to support the weight of this post. We followed the directions and had no difficulty installing, but once finished the post was very weak and unsteady. The mailbox twists with just a moderate wind and moves multiple inches when trying to open the mailbox. I wouldn't purchase again nor recommend. Had to purchase a metal post spike and install with that after removing the original from the ground...
