This mailbox was one of a kind and was available for around half price. It was easy to mount and seems to be well constructed. Checking out took around 15 minutes and there was no one ahead of me in the only line open, a self service line. A clerk was there to help me which turned out to be little help at all. Getting a manager to okay the reduced price and get my veteran's discount should not have been a problem but was the holdup. I almost walked out without the box and mounting bracket but d...

The mailbox has a nice finish, good quality, and installed relatively easy.

Its a mailbox

I chose this msilbox becsuse it was inexpendisive but also becsuse of its style. I like the scrolled horizontal handle on the lid as oppsed to the more typical top lip I also like the silver as opposed to usual red flag. This mailbox also has two hotizontal strips on each side which i assume are for structural integrity, but they also add a bit stylistic sppeal.

Good value for the price.

Over time as products become more cheaply made, this was the best standard size mailbox that I found.

Everyone who gave this mailbox anything over 3 stars hasn't thought to come back with an update after the plastic quickly becomes brittle in the sun and breaks. PLASTIC DOOR RIM DIDN'T LAST A YEAR

I paid a bit more for this model roughly 18 months ago because I liked the available copper color. Unfortunately, the door is a flat metal panel that is rimmed entirely with plastic that also forms the handle and the only hinge point to the body of the mailbox. The plastic brittles quickly in the sun. The handle broke off within a year and then the hinge point cracked. No part of this can easily be replaced or repaired.
