Just what you need for mounting the big mailbox
Would RecommendThe mounting plate that came with the pole was directly compatible with the mailbox I also purchased. So no need to purchase the mounting plate recommended by Lowe’s
Overall a good product, medium priced.
Would RecommendIt was pretty easy to assemble before installation. My old standard size mailbox fits well and I attached it without a problem. Cons: I would prefer a longer pipe. The post office requirements are 40’’ above ground and at least 24’’ under ground, 64’’ total length. The total item length is 52’’. Also, it be a good idea to have a flange at the bottom for better connection with concrete. Will see how long it will last without getting rusty.
