Would RecommendI was concerned with the problems reported with the backing not releasing cleanly & tearing into strips. How ever mine pulled off flawlessly. It was 85deg. when applied to roof. I also watched a couple of u-tube instructional videos before application and learned there is a specific technique to ensure proper separation of the backing. I would recommend first-timers do the same.

Material Quality
Would Not RecommendThe release liner shreds like a cat with toilet paper, really makes the seam sealing useless. The material also rips easily. The GAF Ice and rain barrier I put down first really made me appreciate quality material on something as simple as release lining for the seam seal. I'm repairing a roof due to a water leak and poor installation of seam sealing.
