Would Not RecommendI loved these shades when we first got them! Great look and easy install. We put them up and down once daily to allow light into our dining room. One stopped going up 2 months ago (after 2 years) and another just stopped going up 2 days ago. I was in process of ordering a replacement when the second one broke. They broke from light, general use. You can find cheaper options elsewhere - just wanted to give a general warning that this particular shade doesn't hold up! One broken makes sense b...

Spring carrier shattered after little use
Would Not RecommendSimilar to what JTay noted in their review on November 4, 2023, I had an experience in the middle of the night where the plastic carrier for one of the support cord/spring mechanisms suddenly broke qithout warning. The hlshade saw limited use, maybe once or twice a week over the past four years. What the kicker is that the failure happened in the middle of the night when it wasn't even being touched.
