This is the second time we purchased this product last year for our summer cabin. Something went wrong over the winter freezing weather and when we arrived at our cabin in March, it was broken.

Do not buy

Please do not buy this product. The water flows out of both the shower and bath spout. It looks nice but does not operate the way it is supposed to.

Installation nightmare

It says you can use copper or IPS for the tub spout. This is a lie. The spout only accepts a copper pipe. You have to cut a massive oblong hole for the valve and mount it to a wooden brace from the back, so I hope your walls are the exact same size of the guy who designed it.

Subpar quality for Lowes

Inferior Quality. Plastic pieces are junk but worst of all was corroded tub spout. Inside spout looked like it had been weathered for years and heavy corrosion on threads. Had to buy a different spout from another brand to complete the project. I had already installed components behind tile so we shall see how long it actually lasts.

Beautiful new look

Purchased 2 of these for our bathroom remodels. Loved the look and size of shower head- only 2 small problems- water temperature and pressure. The water temperature was easy to fix by adjusting the level within the faucet. The pressure was a little more frustrating but thanks to these reviews, we removed the “O ring” and instant pressure!!

Works for us

I got this on clearance for a good price. We only needed the shower head and the handle, so I can't speak for the tub spout. Shower head and handle work great. We did have to take the handle apart and adjust a piece so that it would allow hotter water through. It seems like a lot of people don't realize you have to do that sometimes. We haven't had any issues with this hardware.

Worst product ever

On our third cartridge in six months and cant now change to a better brand without repurchasing the $500 shower tub surround as cut out hole for this shower is so large, Shameful that Lowes still sell these with so many documented faults (ignore the Lowes Loop freebie reviews!) its awful for hard water spots too as is the matching faucets!!!

Three item package

Since I am building a shower without a bath tub, I do not need the tub faucet. Therefore, since the shower and valve could not be purchased separately, I have decided to return all three pieces. I did find another brand with just the two items. I like and wanted the allen + roth but didn't want to absorb the tub faucet.

Very Nicely-Made and Robust

This product is very nicely-made and polished. I did debate going with the brushed look, but I am happy that I stuck with the polished chromium as it is really seemingly good quality. We have pretty hard water so in theory, the brushed look may look better between cleanings. The valve body is of brass, which looks good of good quality. Great quality, everything you need

I was honestly very pleasantly surprised with this kit. First, everything was packed well in the box to avoid any damage. As I unboxed everything, though, i was impressed with how complete the kit is, and the obvious high quality of every piece is. This appears to be made of very good quality materials. After opening the box and examining the contents, this is going to be a job that goes beyond my expertise. I will have to get someone with more experience to install this.
