It's Plastic.
Would Not RecommendIt's plastic.... I applied the plumbers tape, tightened the head on the pipe. It leaked, I tightened it again. It leaked. I tightened it again and POP! The neck split down the side.

Dual shower
It functions well, but the Hexagonal nut at the base of the handheld does not fit the circular bracket at the wall showerhead assembly, So the handheld can only dangle loose. However, I bought a little bracket to hold it.
