Would RecommendThe original pads under our large area rugs were 10+ years old and needed to be replaced. This rug pad had good reviews online. We were pleased with the thickness and size of the pad. It worked well for our 8 x 10 rug. It provided good cushion under the rug as well as helping rug stay positioned on wood floors. We actually bought two pads (one for each of our large area rugs).

Easy to trim.
Would RecommendIt was longer than I needed, so I used the excess to put under a small throw rug and it helps hold the rug in place very well. The material is easy to trim and is not so bulky to work with, but it works just as fine as thicker rug pads I've purchased. Make sure to check the actual dimensions prior to purchase, because they are slightly smaller than what is marked on the product title on the package.
