Would Recommendmy dishwasher can get funky, even if I clean the basket. You can go natural with vinegar and the like, but I still forget. I keep these tabs next to my dishwashing tablets which reminds me to put this in once a month (you choose your own schedule). The scent is light, but better than just pouring vinegar (that ruins the finish off French Ovens [painted dutch ovens]).
