very inaccurate

I purchased this 2 weeks ago. the inside temp reads 5⁰ warmer than my new thermostat and old mercury thermometers. and the outdoor reading is way off. currently my old thermometer reads 64 as well as the weather channel. my this reads 79. in the shade.. junk.

Do not buy

Unit worked okay for a little while, then half of the numbers won't show. I challenge anyone to contact customer service for this company,it doesn't exist. Do not buy.

Does the trick

I'm very happy with this product. It was very easy to set up and works accurately. I'd definitely recommend to a friend.

Failed after one month

Outdoor transmitter ceased sending a signal. Replaced batteries, and it worked for a day then stopped. This is the second AcuRite thermometer that has failed for the same reason. Warranty of one-year is worthless since the cost of sending the unit back to the factory would be half of what it cost in the first place. I will toss it.

Accurate and easy to use

Have had others that were clumsy and less accurate!

Digital thermostat

The thermostat worked as designed...I like that both the display and the transmitter now use AA batteries

Very nice

Very nice because I am disabled an it helps me to be able to know the temperature outside while I am inside without having to go outside.

Great thermometer

I bought mine so I could keep check of the temp inside the greenhouse. works great. for the price and functionality I would say I could not have found anything any better.

Always my go to - AcuRite

Using this at my place of employment in a large shared office. Temperature in winter is wild. Gives us the numbers for management. The outside sensor let's us see the correlation with the outside temperature. The outside sensor was hard to place to get a good signal through a Steel and Brick office building with the office space being an inner office. Good thing our campus tries to be environmental with lots of trees. A tree near a window, (tall ladder needed).

Weather thermometer

Item works as printed; no android or smart phone app, would make it a 5star rate; however cost does support four star rate; especially product sync’d immediately no fuse or fiddling with settings, put batteries in and started using it. Well, it's a thermometer. It shows the temperature both inside and outside the house.

I read a few of the reviews of the product and perhaps some of them can be addressed by carefully reading the instructions. There were some complaints about battery life for the outdoor sensor which takes two AA batteries with a recommendation of using Lithium batteries which indeed perform superior to alkaline especially in cold weather. Also the sensor should not be exposed to directly to weather such as rain or snow. I placed the sensor in a food freezer sip lock bag and hung in an appropriat...
