Too Much Metal Loss
Would Not RecommendHonestly, as with any handheld sharpener, this takes far too much metal off of the blade and does not do the job of a proper sharpening stone. You could easily wear your knives down to the nub, eventually, and they will not be nearly as sharp as they would if you learn to use a stone or take advantage of the professional sharpening service. I love Zwilling knives, they are amazing, I am not in love with this sharpener. It's adequate if one does not wish to avail themselves of other options, but...
