Lid/valve spring is too strong?
The lid/valve stuck shut after the first use. I suspect because the silt from the stirred up sump was creating some kind of unintended seal. Pump I have is strong enough, so I don't know... it has worked since, but I am scared now and have to keep checking. Might have to change it.
