What Customers Are Saying

Customers overwhelmingly praise this shellac-based primer for exceptional stain-blocking performance on water damage, smoke, pet odors, and pine knots, with rapid drying enabling quick recoating and efficient workflow. Many report complete opacity in a single coat even on heavily stained surfaces, and reviewers consistently rely on it for challenging applications like cabinet refinishing and damaged drywall where other primers failed. Strong adhesion to difficult substrates and reliable odor sealing earn it a "miracle" reputation. A few note the strong lingering odor requires ventilation, and some mention thin consistency benefits from foam rollers. Overall, most consider it the definitive primer for demanding projects.

High Dollar fix for serious paint problems. There is Kilz and then there is this stuff. This shellac based primer sticks to almost any surface and hides a multitude of sins.

Wow. Was this the most expensive primer I've ever used? Yes. Was it by far the best? Also yes. Strip sanded honey oak cabinets in preparation for paint. There was some dark tanin lines and a little water damage in areas. I used a grain filler. This paints on thin, dries VERY FAST and leaves a smooth surface. I did 2 coats. I recommend a foam roller over brush. Paint adheres very well to it and I got a professional looking paint job. Cabinets.look brand new.
