I use these in a couple of different places in the house. While they don't necessarily work at getting rid of flies, they do work for most other bugs attracted to light. Unfortunately, the characteristic that makes them so successful is also a con. The light is bright, so there isn't going to be any using it in your bedroom unless you don't mind the light.
