Would RecommendLast year a tree root blocked one of our underground pipes. This ultimately lead to a gray water backup in our kitchen. Unfortunately that section of the pipe had to be replaced. Our plumber recommended we purchase this product to prevent any issues moving forward. This product is very easy to use. It is now part of our seasonal home maintenance.

Root Kill for Septic System
Would RecommendI liked that I did not have to stop the water flow to use this product. After 1 week, it is appearing to work. We are still waiting to see if it improves everything after 4 weeks like the bottle said.

Would Not RecommendZep septic root killer is great, i throw it on top of the ground on small roots i want dead, example monkey grass, Zep kills it good.

This product sinks so limited applications
Would Not RecommendThis product does kill roots however if you like myself and many others have roots coming from above your backup this product flushes under them because the product sinks in water, be mindful that if you have roots from the top of the pipe this will not work, a snake or hydrojet option is best for temporary fixes until you can get the damaged pipe(s) replaced
