Would Not RecommendWe were excited to have 6.5 extra inches to shower and wanted a style upgrade over the standard tension rod. Installation was unnecessarily complicated. The caps that cover the hardware are never flush with the surface and we were afraid the metal would scratch the tile. The thrill evaporated quickly and we replaced with straight tensioning rod for $11.99.

Easier than instructions make it sound.
A little tricky to put together but managed to do it as tension mount. Love it to keep the shower spray inside the tub enclosure.
