Great Lock System

Lock worked great and was easy to install. Unfortunately, the rubber gasket was wrinkled in the box and it required manipulation to get it to work, although still not perfect. Otherwise, I would have ranked it a 5 star product

Faulty touchscreen

Touch screen wouldn’t activate. I’m sure just a bad unit but had to jump through a few hoops to get return authorized. Should be easier to return products. Build quality seemed good other than faulty touch screen.

Difficult to install

It’s very difficult to install. Incomplete instructions. Very frustrating

Great smart lock

I had a Level lock before, and it was not reliable. Since I installed the Yale, I no longer wonder if the lock will work when I need in the house. It is super reliable, the install was easy, and the operation is even easier. Great product.

Horrible connecting experience

I bought 2 of these a while back. I installed one for main entry and the 2nd for the garage door. Now, trying to install and add the 2nd lock to my account is frustrating beyond belief. The UI is sooo not user friendly. I tried both August and Yale App, same result:

I've never liked this device.

I have never been able to get this device to work well in terms of being a good addition to a smart home. Often doesn't connect. "Works with Google" isn't terribly accurate in comparison to the older devices which didn't need a separate app. It does well storing codes for people to enter...if you want a dumb house with a smart lock for people to walk into the home with. I have > 60 bulbs/3 brands, the older Yale X Google lock, and many other smart devices. I don't think it is me, but could be. S...

Lock eats battery

Lock only a couple years old and need to replace batteries monthly as they don't last. Have tried different brands of batteries and all the same. Called Yale and went through the process to reset still same results not a good product for the money.

buyer beware, doesn't hold up

item works as intended, setup was simple, after 18 months of use the glass/plastic covering the numbers is very scratched/cracked where the numbers of my code are, used to unlock the door maybe 1-2 times daily. does not hold up well. not sure if i can replace the glass alone,

USELESS - DONT BUY

This is the THIRD Lockset I purchase for the same door and they are all DEFECTIVE.Yale will not refund me and just keep sending me to buy new ones after spending hours on the phone. DONT BUY THIS CRAP!

As a locksmith this is our go to home lock to install.
